Further or farther?

Farther is used to describe physical distances, while further is used for metaphorical distances. Sometimes a situation may appear ambiguous and, in this case, you may choose either one.

Ex	Lacy moved farther east last month.
	How much farther do we have until we arrive?
	That couldn’t be further from the truth.
